Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Fly from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip. Enjoy spectacular views of Uganda’s rolling hills, crater lakes, and lush countryside.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your lodge for relaxation.

Spend the rest of the day at leisure while enjoying the beautiful surroundings and preparing for the following day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi

Following an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You will then embark on a once-in-a-lifetime trek through the dense rainforest in search of one of the habituated mountain gorilla families.

The trek may take anywhere between 2 and 7 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Once located, you will spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat.

Witness their social interactions, playful juveniles, and the majestic silverback as you capture unforgettable memories.

Return to the lodge for relaxation and celebration of your incredible achievement.

Day 3: Batwa Cultural Experience and Relaxation

After breakfast, enjoy a cultural encounter with the Batwa people, the original inhabitants of the Bwindi forest. Learn about their traditional way of life, hunting techniques, medicinal plants, and cultural dances.

The remainder of the afternoon can be spent relaxing at the lodge, enjoying spa treatments, or taking a guided community walk.

Day 4: Fly Back to Entebbe – Departure

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe. Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight.
